Day Trip to Taj Mahal

A day trip to the Taj Mahal may be hectic, it's full of fun and jovialness. Agra is easily accessible from New Delhi and you have a plethora of options for commuting to the city. The Shatabdi Express, which departs from the New Delhi railway station every morning at 6'o clock, arrives at the Agra Cantt station at 8'o clock. From the station you can hire a rickshaw, an auto-rickshaw or a taxi to the Taj. Apart from the Shatabdi, other trains convenient for day trips are the Taj Express, Punjab Mail, Swarna Jayanti express and Chattisgarh Express.

Taj Express : Departs H Nizamuddin Station at 7:15- Arrives Agra Cantt at 9:50.
Punjab Mail : Departs New Delhi Station at 5:30- Arrives Agra Cantt at 8:25.
Swarna Jayanti : Departs H Nizamuddin at 5:50- Arrives Agra Cantt at 9:05.
Chattisgarh Exp : Departs New Delhi at 5:00- arrives agra Cantt at 9:30.

Buses and Tourist Cabs
Buses and tourist cabs are easily available for a trip to Agra. By road, it is 253 kms and takes around 4/5 hours.
